A day after appearing as a guest on The Dan Nicholl Show, Lucas Radebe didn’t reclaim any titles like heavyweight fighter Andrew ‘One Gear’ van Zyl did. He also didn’t win Celebrity MasterChef like comedian Chris Forrest.

But this doesn’t mean Lucas’ appearance on the show was any less entertaining! We were very surprised to hear of his involvement in the beginnings of the Kaiser Chiefs. And we’re not talking about Mzansi’s football club Kaizer Chiefs with a “z”, but Kaiser Chiefs with an “s” – one of the United Kingdom’s famous rock bands. Remember their hit Ruby? He explains his involvement in the clip below:

Landing that job in football has surely changed Lucas’ life! Imagine being a young defender from Kaizer Chiefs on the verge of international football stardom, on his way to take up a position at Leeds United. The road to Leeds seems to have had its fair share of twists and turns though, as Lucas describes in this excerpt from his appearance on The Dan Nicholl Show:

We can all learn from Lucas’ ability to adapt to and embrace Life’s Biggest Changes. So call us biased, but our favorite highlight from his appearance on The Dan Nicholl Show was when he handed over his Kaizer Chiefs cap for display on the #Lovechange Showcase!

Having a memento like this in a display case probably is something many fans have on their bucket lists, and we are very excited to have a piece of the Chief on the #LoveChange Showcase. Thank you, Chief!
