MARK BANKS
Mark Banks has been in the comedy business for over 25 years. Mark Banks is well known and recognized nationwide for his political satire and commonplace poke among the rich and famous. He has a humour with a unique taste, is well equipped, and states the reason for his ludicrous behaviour. Mark writes and performs his own comedy shows and material, he is passionate about his comedy work. In Mark’s spare time he runs an organic, hydroponic cocktail cucumber farm in Swellendam.
JAMES THOMPSON
James Thompson is a South African rower and made his international debut in 2003, when he won bronze at the World Rowing Junior Championships in the coxed four. He went on to win two silver medals at the under-23 level in the lightweight pair before launching his senior career. After winning Olympic gold in the lightweight men’s four at London 2012, James switched to the lightweight double in 2014 and raced to claim his first ever World Championship title.
CHESTER WILLIAMS
Chester Williams is a former South African rugby union rugby player. He played as a winger for the Springboks from 1993 to 2000. Williams also played rugby for the Western Province in the Currie Cup. Taking on an entirely new challenge in 2010, Chester completed the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike stage race, joining several former Springbok Rugby players who have also taken on the rugged challenge of the Untamed African MTB Race.
