ARNOLD VOSLOO
Arnold Vosloo was born in Pretoria, South Africa to stage actor parents Johanna Petronella Vorster (stage name Joyce Vosloo) and Johannes J. Daniel Vosloo (stage name Deon Vosloo).
Vosloo quickly established a fine reputation as an actor in his native South Africa, winning several awards for his theatre work, including “More Is ‘n Lang Dag”, “Don Juan” and “Torch Song Trilogy”. A regular performer with South Africa’s State Theatre, he played leading roles in “Savages”, “Twelfth Night” and “Hamlet”. His film career in the RSA brought him several nominations for Best Actor Awards for both Boetie Gaan Border Toe, Circles in a Forest , and the Dalro Best Actor Nomination for the film version of More Is ‘n Lang Dag.
After moving to the United States, he appeared in “Born In The R.S.A.” at Chicago’s Northlight Theatre and starred on Broadway with Al Pacino in a Circle In The Square Uptown production of “Salome”.
Vosloo’s film credits include the worldwide box office hit by Director Stephen Sommers, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Edward Zwick’s Blood Diamond, Ridley Scott’s 1492: Conquest of Paradise, John Woo’s Hard Target, Darkman II: The Return of Durant and Darkman III: Die Darkman Die, George Miller’s Zeus and Roxanne.
Equally at home on the television screen, Vosloo appeared on Amazon’s Jack Ryan with John Krasinski, The Blacklist with James Spader, Bosch and 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.
Vosloo can now be seen in Silverton Siege on Netflix and coming soon, also on Netflix, Ludik.
ROSEMARY ZIMU
Rosemary Zimu is a South African actress, singer, songwriter and voice artist. Coming from a family of six siblings, Rosemary’s mother noticed at an early age her passion for the arts After a successful school career, Rosemary went on the study law however the passion for acting took her in a different and very successful direction.
Known for her role in the Nollywood film, Champagne role and as Warona in The Queen, Rosemary has featured on many television shows which include Scandal, Generations, Isidingo, The Legacy and has recently made her debut in Netflix’s Savage Beauty, playing the lead role of Zinhle, a mysterious young woman seeking revenge against a powerful family.
KYLE VERREYNNE
Kyle Verreynne a South African cricketer who plays for Western Province. He made his international debut for the South Africa cricket team in February 2020 and his Twenty20 cricket debut for Western Province against Namibia in 2016. In 2018 he was named in the squad for the Cape Cobras team for the 2018–19 season and in the Cape Town’s Blitz’s squad for the first edition of the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament.
2019 saw Kyle being selected for the Western Province’s squad for the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup and 2021 saw yet another selection for the Western Province’s squad ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa. Kyle’s international career includes playing for the South African squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and in 2020 he featured in the South Africa’s ODI’s against England and Australia.
In 2021 Verreynne was named in South Africa’s Twenty20 International squad for their series against Pakistan and the West Indies and also made his Test debut for South Africa against the West Indies.
In February 2022, in the second match against New Zealand, Verreynne scored his first century in Test cricket, with an unbeaten 136 runs.
