BRADLEY BARRITT
Bradley Barritt is a South African-born former rugby union player. He played for South Africa in the final of the 2006 U21 Rugby World Cup and that same year was signed up with the Sharks and played in various Currie Cup and Super 14 matches for the Sharks with a Currie Cup win in 2008. Brad also represented the Emerging Springboks at the IRB Nations Cup in 2007.
He signed for the English Premiership side Saracens in 2008 and after a series of impressive performances in the Premiership he was drafted into the England Saxons squad in 2009. During his time at Saracens he won five Premiership titles and helped Saracens win the European Champions Cup in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Barritt was called up to the England senior squad for the first time in 2010 to face New Zealand and again for the 2012 Six Nations Championship making his full debut against Scotland. He got his first points for England when he scored a try in a memorable win over New Zealand in December 2012.
CARVIN GOLDSTONE
Carvin Goldstone is an internationally recognized South African comedian and one of the biggest names in South African Comedy.
His accomplishments include winning Comics Choice Comedian of the Year in 2018 which is considered the “Oscars” of SA Comedy. Carvin is also a multiple award-winning broadcast journalist, having received four Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards – the highest honour in South African journalism.
In 2019 Carvin was identified by the Sunday Times as a South African A-List celebrity. He is a viral sensation with close to 2 million views on his YouTube comedy channel. He has performed in the United Kingdom, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and across Southern Africa, including Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
TYSON DLUNGWANA
SA Hockey’s Tyson Dlungwana earned his first cap for the South Africa in February 2016, when he played against Germany in Cape Town in the Summer Series. The 25-year-old was first introduced into the Maritzburg College first hockey team in Grade 9, against fellow KZN school, Northwood of Durban and has since steadily moved up the ranks.
He started playing hockey in Grade 6 at Merchiston Prep School in Pietermaritzburg and his passion for the sport continued to grow during his High School years at Maritzburg College.
He played at the 2016 World Cup in India and was selected to play at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China where his team finished fourth. He also competed in the 2017 Hockey Africa Cup of Nations and represented the South African National Hockey team at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
