Evan Roos is a South African rugby union player for Western Province in the Currie Cup and the Stormers in the United Rugby Championship. He can play as a flank, eighth man or lock.

He was called up to the South Africa Schools squad in 2018, making three appearances in the 2018 Under-19 International Series, and scoring a try in their match against France.

He made his Currie Cup debut for the Sharks in August 2019, coming on as a replacement in their match against the Free State Cheetahs in Round Five of the 2019 season.

Judith Sephuma is a South African multi award winning artist of international standard. She has been dubbed the queen of Afro Jazz. She is an acclaimed prolific and versatile singer with multiple platinum status selling albums. Her angelic, soft, sultry and melodic voice has continued to dominate airwaves for close to 2 decades. She continues to impress the world with her talent and versatility performing for thousands of fans around the world including her travels to sold out shows in Europe, the USA and the United Kingdom. Judith Sephuma is very well known for her multi-status selling jazz albums and her platinum-status selling gospel album The Experience Live in Concert.

Born in Seshego, Judith was raised in Polokwane, Limpopo, and moved to Cape Town in 1994 to study as a jazz vocalist. In 1997, she graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Performer’s Diploma in Jazz and went on to further study. In 1999, she won the “Best Jazz Vocalist” at the Old Mutual Jazz Into The Future competition and signed with the African division of BMG.

She is recorded and marketed through her independent record label, Lalomba Music.

akani simbine

Akani Simbine is a South African sprinter specialising in the 100 meters event.[1] He was fifth at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men’s 100 meters and was the 100 meters African record holder with a time of 9.84 seconds set in July 2021 until broken by Ferdinand Omurwa in September 2021.

Simbine was a World Championships finalist in the men’s 100 meters in 2017 (fifth) and 2019 (fourth), and was 100 meters champion at the 2018 African Championships and 2018 Commonwealth Games. In the 4 × 100 meters relay he helped South Africa become champions at the African Championships in 2016 and 2018, and place second at the 2018 Commonwealth Games with a South African record time of 38.24 seconds. He anchored South Africa to gold at the 2021 World Relays. Simbine has finished inside the top 5 in the last 4 major championship 100m races including 4th in 2019 World Athletics Championships – Men’s 100 meters and Athletics at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Men’s 100 meters missing out on the bronze medal to Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse.
