FAF DU PLESSIS

Professional cricketer and former captain of the South Africa national cricket team, Faf is considered one of the greatest fielders of all time and is among the best all-format batsmen of his era. He made his international debut in 2011 in a One Day International and his Test match debut in November 2012.

Faf has scored centuries on 10 occasions in Test, 12 occasions in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and once in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

In 2021 he announced his retirement from Test cricket after leading South Africa in 36 Test matches to focus on the 2021 and 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cups. In the 2022 Indian Premier League auction, du Plessis was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore and named as team’s captain and  he was bought by the Northern Superchargers for the 2022 season of The Hundred in England.

October 2022 saw the launch of his autobiography, Through Fire.

JOE VAN NIEKERK

Joe van Niekerk aka “Big Joe” was always an enigma, a one of a kind. A loose-forward with silky hands and explosive pace. As a young budding rugby player Joe catapulted straight from the junior ranks at under 21 level to Springbok rugby. He played 52 Tests for the Springboks and was known on the rugby fields across the world for his fearless runs off the fringes and stomach-churning tackles.

He joined Toulon in France and after the 2014 Heineken Cup final Joe ended his professional career. He went on a strict vegan diet, stopped taking all his prescriptive medicines, and started cleansing his body. And so started a new journey for Joe, is in now the owner of a healing sanctuary in Costa Rica.

MOOZLIE

Nomuzi Mabena, professionally known as Moozlie is a rapper and television presenter. 2012 saw Moozlie win the MTV Base VJ Search which launched her career in the entertainment industry.

A lady of many talents, Moozlie was also a presenter on V Entertainment, has her own record label Nomuzi Mabena, and released her debut mixtape Versus in 2017. Her debut album, Victory was released in 2018.

She’s made her mark as one of the best media personalities in Mzansi, as an award-winning best female in rap, crowned 2022 GQ’s Best Dressed Woman, and has now shifted the focus to building her brand in the business world as a creative director for Mzansi hottest brands Era By DJ Zinhle and Drip
