Grant Lottering is the pro-cyclist who did what the world thought was impossible. After slamming into rock in the Italian Alps he was hospitalised and it seemed unlikely that he’d ever race again. The world was wrong, after recovering, Grant Lottering went back and completed the race. On episode 12 The Dan Nicholl Show, Grant gave contributed his bike helmet that he wore when successfully completing the Leggendaria Charly Gaul in Trento, Italy – the race that almost claimed Grant’s life only one year before.
