ANTHONY OSEYEMI
Born in the United Kingdom to a Nigerian family where he received his BA degree in the Performing Arts from the University of North London and following his postgraduate studies in the UK, he returned to South Africa to settle.
Anthony’s career started on stage as part of Lewisham youth theatre before turning professional with performances at the riverside as part of the London International Festival of Theatre along with other professional performances at the Tricycle theatre and the Albany with Project Phakama. With a theatre and performing arts training background and a BA Performing arts degree, he’s had lead roles in series such Jacobs Cross, Room 9, Traffick as well as Isidingo.
Early television appearances include ‘The Bill’, ‘Holby City’ and ‘is Harry on the Boat’ as well as cinema appearances in the feature films ‘Five Fingers for Marseille’ and the Romantic comedy with Simon Pegg ‘Hectors search for happiness’, while also doing action flick ‘Seal Team 8’ alongside Tom Sizemore finishing off with the cooperate thriller ‘The assignment’.
His latest appearance is as “Winston” in Gaia, a South African horror thriller film featured internationally and directed and produced by Jaco Bouwer.
HEINRICH KLAASEN
Heinrich Klaasen is a South African cricketer who plays for the South African national cricket team. A clean-hitting, wicketkeeper batsman, Heinrich Klaasen emerged on the scene at the same time that Quinton de Kock nailed down a place in the South African team, across all formats.
Schooled at Menlopark HighSchool and the University of Pretoria, Klaasen made his first-class debut for Northerns in the 2012-13 season and averaged 42.58 in the provincial three-day cup. The following year he averaged 52.10 and in the one after that 65.25.
He was included in the Northerns cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup and picked by Rajasthan Royals in 2018, and by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2019 to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In 2021 Klaasen was named as the captain of South Africa’s T20I squad for their away and home series against Pakistan and played for South Africa in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
REEZA HENDRICKS
Reeza Hendricks is a South African cricketer who plays for Gauteng and for the South Africa national cricket team. He is a right-handed opening batsman and made his international debut for South Africa in November 2014.
Hendricks made his Twenty20 International debut for South Africa against Australia in November 2014 and was included in the Griqualand West cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup
In June 2018, Hendricks made his ODI debut for South Africa against Sri Lanka where he scored a century on his debut. In September 2021, Hendricks was named in South Africa’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
In 2021, he was named in Gauteng’s squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa and in 2022 scored 157 runs for Lions to secure the title win in the Division One final of the 2021–22 CSA One-Day Cup.
